The episode picks up where we see Evelyn in therapy. We learn that Ev, at this point, is still having a hard time dealing with the turn in her relationship with Chad. So the tears were definitely expected as she's force to go down memory lane. But what is Evelyn to do if the media wasn't involved? If her life wasn't played out on TV she'd be with Chad right now.
Tami and Suzie meet up over drinks and discuss Evelyn's PETA birthday party -- which Suzie says was a great success. Tami reveals that her absence was due to her tending to her sick mother. Doesn't seem like she was hating to me. But I digress.
Suzie also tells Tami about her meeting with Tasha. She lets Tami know know that since she's apologized, she and Tasha are now cool. But, wait! Suzie leaves out one minor detail -- the part where they were discussing Tami. Of course, Tami asking about this doesn't make Suzie want to be honest. But then again, Suzie will be Suzie. I smell some drama cooking already.
If you've ever questioned whether Evelyn divorced Chad for financial gains, she wants you to know that she's no gold digger. In talking to her attorney about a no contact order against Chad, Ev reveals that she wanted a pre-nup. Her reasoning, well, to protect her brand, of course! But hey, do we blame her?
Tami treats her mother to a day of relaxation at the Spa. She takes the opportunity to propose the idea of a family portrait but Mama Nadine doesn't seem to entertain the idea. Tami also ask about her mother staying in a Hospice instead of her home but Mama Nadine already plans to move into her own space -- not taking any help from Tami.
Meanwhile, Suzie meets up with Tasha at the gym expressing, once again, her opinion on the Chad and Evelyn situation. In the confessional Suzie mentions not wanting to pry because she's not that person. It was only two episodes ago that she does just the exact opposite of what she's saying. Either way, Suzie chooses to voice her opinions anyway.
Tami stops by Evelyn's place to brief her on the meeting with Shaunie. Still bothered, Tami seeks Ev's opinion on the really right, or really wrong ordeal. Evelyn suggests that she, Tami, Shaunie, and Tasha get together to discuss the matter and lay it to rest. But secretly Ev feels the situation is just petty.
Clearly, it's not petty to Tami since she also lunches with Tasha in the next scene bringing up the situation once again. During their one-on-one meeting, however, Tami could not leave without giving her infamous advice on dealing with her -- that is, if you have anything you want to know about her, she suggest you ask HER. After all, the advice is so she wouldn't have to pop a b***h.
Evelyn meets with Shaunie to discuss the conversation she had with Tami. At this point everyone is briefed on how Tami feels about the seed and Shaunie is quite annoyed. The information Evelyn brings to the table strikes a nerve in Shaunie and we see a little bit of gangsta in her. Okay, maybe its not that serious, but this season Shaunie is taking no mess and that includes Tami too.
She then tells Ev that Tami should "grow up or shut up" or ... "BRING IT!" Think Shaunie can handle Tami if she brought it? We'll see how things play out next week.
