Listen: Timbaland Unveils New Jay Z and Drake Track

Timbaland is currently on the road supporting Jay Z on his Magna Carta world tour in Europe. Timbaland, who is gearing up to release Shock Value III in the hopefully not-too-distant future, shared a taste of what he’s cooking up. During the Magna Carta world tour stop in Birmingham, England on Oct. 8, the “Here We Come” rapper/producer performed a snippet of a new track that features both Jay Z and Drake.

“It’s a whole other deal,” Timbo raps when he isn’t rhyming “Hollywood lights” with “Miami nights” on the uptempo, yet moody track.

The last time Drake and Jay Z teamed up for music was “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2″ of Drizzy’s Nothing Was the Same LP. Drake has never appeared on a Timbo album, Timbaland’s last being 2009’s em>Shock Value II.

The Magna Carta world tour is currently holed up in London for four-night residency at the O2 Arena. Here’s to hoping we hear more of this tune, and some others on the tour dates to come.
