WATCH: Seth Rogen & Zac Efron Engage In Prank Wars In ‘Neighbors’ Trailer

Movies & TV

After the hilarity of the red-band trailer hit the web, Nicholas Stoller’s new comedy Neighbors returns with a more tame, all-ages green-band clip.

Previously known as Townies, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron engage in a host of prank wars that promise to cause laugh riots all across theaters in America. Penned by Judd Apatow alumni Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, there are a ton of great gags and bits throughout this tamer trailer.

Without giving too much away, there’s a funny bit where Rogen and Byrne try to remove a provocatively posed bush that Zac Efron and his fraternity brothers planted, and also a bit with Dave Franco (James’ younger brother) doing his best Bobby De Niro impersonation. The one that seems to cause the biggest guffaws is when the frat takes out the airbag from Rogen and Byrne’s car and, well, we’ll let you see the rest below:

Stoller’s most recent work behind the camera was The Five Year Engagement. He was also the guy behind Get Him To The Greek.

This flick looks immensely funny, but it’s a shame that we’ll have to wait until next summer to see it. Between this and That Awkward Moment, it looks like Efron is slowly becoming the new king of R-rated comedies.

Neighbors will also star Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Lisa Kudrow. Expect it to hit theaters on May 9th, 2014.
