Could 'Caribbean Wives of South Florida' End Up In Your TV Guide? (Video)
Fans of the "Real Housewives of [Wherever]" look out, there may be a new set of wives joining the television mix. A Florida company has high hopes that "Caribbean Wives of South Florida" will help castmates of Jamaican, Haitian, Grenadian, Dominican and Trinidadian descent get representation in the reality TV line-up. According to the NY Daily News, the pilot show will make its debut red carpet premiere in New York on Nov. 15 at Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse.
Maxine Tulloch -- the figurehead behind the show's production company, Tulloch Media Communications -- was inspired by her disappointment with the "The Real Housewives of Miami." “South Florida is not just Hispanics," she said. "When you look at the demographics on people from the Caribbean, there are just as many of us.”
As of now, the show has not been picked up by a network. Watch the teaser above to see if it even should be.
