Kanye West Pleads Not Guilty To Paparazzi Attack
There is a new development in the ongoing love/hate relationship between Kanye West and the paparazzi. TMZ reports that the Yeezus rapper has pled not guilty to the alleged attack on a photographer that went down this past July.
'Ye's lawyer entered the plea on behalf of the rapper Thursday morning (Nov. 7). Kanye was charged with battery and attempted grand theft by the L.A. City Attorney's office in September, after footage of Yeezy lunging at the photog and grabbing his camera surfaced online.
Attorney Gloria Allred was also present, representing camera man Daniel Ramos, who also sued the Chicago rep in civil court for assault and battery.
If convicted for both charges, 'Ye could be seeing a maximum sentence of a year in prison. It should be noted that Kim Kardashian's fiancee has made a conscious effort to play nice with the paps. Last month, 'Ye told TMZ camera guys at an L.A. gas station, "We in this together."
