Kanye West Says President Obama 'Uses Pop Icons To Be Down'

After rocking the mic at Harvard's Graduate School of Design this past weekend, Kanye West continued his promo tour by stopping by Philly's 107.9 morning show and dropped bombs on-air. The Yeezus rapper flaps his gums about his creative genius, his mother nickinaming him "Mandela," and his father being a Black Panther.

'Ye also threw some shade at President Barack Obama, who he's had some beef with in the past after the commander in chief called him a jackass.

"Oh, [Obama] talking about how he use to come and visit me and my mama and tell me he’s about to run for President? I just think that we’re pop icons and the President likes to use that type of thing just to be down," he said. "People were fine with me being everyone’s punching bag for about five years. This is the person we love to hate so if you want to distract people from everything that’s going on or you gotta a problem just say that you hate Kanye. There’s gonna be thirty other people who say they hate Kanye and that was kinda my position in culture and he kinda used that too. [He said] ‘Oh, he’s a jackass” ’cause that’s how the world felt but I don’t care if someone is the President or not. I care about thoughts and how you are helping people and what you bring to the world. My music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people. Me? It’s not about me."

He continued about his fellow Chicago native, "I’m not gonna mention [Obama] no more I’m passed that. That’s out my thoughts. That’s lowering my priority of thinking at this point. (laughs)"

West's remarks come after the Prez criticized the reality starlet and her rapper beau for influencing the youth to be obsessed with wealth and celebrity.

R. Kelly's Ex-Girlfriend Kitti Jones Details Abuse By Singer

With the recent gun threats at a screening of Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries, former girlfriend Kitti Jones sits down with Page Six TV to detail the ins and outs of her relationship with the singer on Monday (Dec. 6).

Joining the conversation via video live stream, Jones speaks on the emotion and physical abuse she endured during her two-year relationship with Kelly, telling a number of horror stories in the process.

Having lived with him in his Chicago home from 2011 to 2013, Jones shares the way the abuse evolved from verbal to physical beginning with an implementation of rules. According to Jones, Kelly would expect her to follow a number of obscure and possessive rules such as, "standing up when he walks into the room," "facing the wall," and "asking permission to use the bathroom."

In addition, Jones shares that she was often expected to have "sex on demand" and would suffer adverse consequences if she did not comply, including being denied food for days at a time.

During the interview, Jones also aligns with Kelly's ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, in her claim that the R&B musician was undoubtedly behind the threats that ultimately evacuated a private screening of the upcoming R.Kelly docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly on Dec. 4.

“I believe it was somebody connected to him," Andrea Kelly told Rolling  Stone. “This was an outside inside-job to me; someone on the outside does not want what’s going on on the inside to be completed. Whoever it came from, they know that this is not a good thing because there’s power in numbers.”

According to reports, those in attendance included the several of Kelly's accusers as well as the founder of the #MeToo movement, Tarana Burke.

Jay-Z's year has been an eventful one so it makes sense the mogul would have a fire playlist to match.

Drake also has a noted three nods with Scorpion cuts "Emotionless," "That's How You Feel" and his guest spot on "SICKO MODE" with Travis Scott making the list.

The artist also included the righteous "BLACK EFFECT," a track from Everything Is Love with Beyonce. Rounding out the list is Rapsody's soulfully stirring "Sojourner" with J.Cole.

Awww Here It Goes: Kenan Thompson And Kel Mitchell Would Do A 'Good Burger' Sequel

Millennials rejoice! It looks like 90s television staples Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell would be down to do a sequel to their cult-classic film, Good Burger.

During a visit to Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, SNL star Thompson was asked a phoned-in question about the possibility of a "full-on sequel" to the film. A few years ago, Kenan and Kel reunited on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for a resurrection of their All That sketch of the same name. It looks like the same question has crossed their minds before, and they are both open to the opportunity.

"We’ve been talking about it for a long time, and we’ve had meetings about it," Thompson revealed. "So, it’s in the higher powers’ hands, because we both said were down to do it."

He also elaborated on the viral Good Burger reunion seen on Fallon.

"Thanks to Dan Schneider [All That's creator], he called me and he was like, a friend of his was working on The Tonight Show, and they had that idea to do the reunion. He reached out to me and then I called Kel, and then we talked, we played phone tag for like three days… it was a nice, 40 minute conversation that we had… it was nice to reconnect because it was like picking up right from where we left off.”

Let's hope that we can see a sequel to the film in our lifetime, as we expect it'd be welcome with open arms.
