Madonna Beats Lady Gaga On Forbes’ 2013 List Of Highest-Paid Musicians
It's only right that the Queen of Pop sits atop Forbes' 2013 list of highest-paid musicians. Madonna, who earned a cool $125 million this year, was able to make it rain with the help of lucrative concert sales from her MDNA tour (which grossed $305 million) along with her Material Girl clothing line and Truth or Dare fragrance.
Lady Gaga came rolling in the deep at no. 2 with earnings of $80 million. Both singers have been duking it out in an imaginary custody battle over the pop world since comparisons were made between the two and Madge accused the Mother Monster for jocking one of her songs last year.
Beef aside, Bon Jovi (who bagged $79 million), Toby Keith ($65 million), and Coldplay at ($64 million) rounded out the top five.
Bruce Springsteen, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Elton John clocked in at numbers 5 through 9 respectively, with Beyonce tying country star Kenny Chesney at 10, each earning $53 million.
