Today, it seems the children of politicians have more influence than their parents. Malia Obama is just one 16 teens declared "influential" by TIME Magazine for 2013. The 15-year old is profiled for maintaining a sense of normalcy despite being the daughter of our President and influencing his positive stance on gay marriage.
Also included on the coveted list is Dante de Blasio, the son of New York City's newly elected mayor. With a larger than life fro and modern sense of style, the 16-year old is quickly becoming a NYC fashion icon. “Dante has the same hairdo as I had in 1978. Although I have to confess my Afro was never that good. It was a little imbalanced," the president recently said of the teen.
