New Music: Vic Mensa ‘Children Of The Sun’

Rapper on the rise Vic Mensa unleashed his INNANETAPE mixtape this past fall to rave reviews. As he steadily builds steam with his Save Money and Chicago’s acid rap movement, Mensa unleashes another beast, “Children Of The Sun.”

The track is one of Mensa’s more earlier raps. Mensa laid down the verse in 2010, when he was just 17 and playing with his old trap-rock outfit Kids These Days. “How does it feel to be rich and famous? I don’t know. Let’s find out,” Mensa starts before a mellow Thelonious Martin beat slips in. Listen to Mensa do his thing below.
