1.) Romantic Ritual
If you are lucky enough to have a lover who watches the same shows you do, use that to your advantage. Create a date night, centered around watching your favorite television programs. Order take-out, make the bed, turn off the lights, and turn on the tube.
2.) Get the Munchies
Just because you aren’t at the movies, doesn’t mean you should skip on the concessions. The next time you are at Target or Wal-Mart, stock up on you and your babes’ favorite snacks and drinks. It makes watching your favorite shows that much better.
Yes ladies! We might have to watch a football game on Sunday instead of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Compromising is a very important element in a relationship. Compromising on television might seem small, but it is a great way to couple exercise.
4.) Don’t Fall Asleep
Don’t get caught with your eyes closed. The first one who falls asleep between the two of you forfeits control over the remote and what is being watched!
5.) Personal Space
Watching television might seem like the opportune time to cuddle, but it might not be. There are some shows and programs that require all your undivided attention, and then are some that offers makes cuddling a must. It is just up to you to voice that distinction to your honey.
6.) Channel Surfing
If you guys are just relaxing at home and not really fixated on a specific show or shows, share the remote control. Every hour swap control over the remote and let each other enjoy whatever they want.
7.) Don’t Drop the Remote
Make sure your guys keep the remote in a safe place at all times. If it drops, flip a coin to find out who picks it up.
