'Breaking Bad' Contest Winner Busted For Drug Charges
A Breaking Bad contest winner, who had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the the season finale with the cast of the AMC hit series, was arrested Tuesday morning (Dec. 31) by Florida authorities for numerous charges including possession and intent to sell prescription drugs, CNN reports.
Ryan Lee Carroll, 28, was reportedly taken into custody following a house raid in San Carlos Park neighborhood in Fort Meyers, Florida after allegedly possessing synthetic narcotics and owning a shop or vehicle from dangerous drugs.
Last September, he won a contest to meet the cast of Breaking Bad, which tells the story of a chemistry teacher turned meth lord named Walter White.
This isn't the only instance of Breaking Bad-esque behavior. A small village in China was recently busted, stocking about $3 million worth of meth, according to Chinese local authorities.
