Lauryn Hill Narrates Sundance Documentary ‘Concerning Violence’ [Video]

Lauryn Hill Performs At Royale In Boston

Lauryn Hill may still have us waiting to hear her return album but that’s not stopping her from associating her voice to other projects. The singer and rapper lent her voice to Swedish filmmaker Goran Hugo Olsson’s documentary Concerning Violence. The documentary dissects Frantz Fanon’s text The Wretched of the Earth to explore the African liberation movements in the 1960s and 1970s. Ms. Hill serves as a narrative guide throughout the historical movie.

The film will make it’s debut at this month’s Sundance Film Festival on Friday January 17th.
