Lingerie Brand Aerie Ditches Photoshop and Supermodels for New Campaign [Photos]


While lingerie brand campaigns are known for using skinny models and lots of airbrushing, Aerie is taking the opposite approach with a new batch of “real” girls. Their just launched “Aerie Real” campaign uses only unretouched models and aims to build self-confidence in its younger consumer base (Aerie is the sister store to American Eagle).

Through the #AerieREAL hashtag, girls can join the cause by sharing photos of themselves, proving that sexy comes in all shapes and sizes.
