Police Report In Justin Bieber Arrest May Contain Errors

Justin Bieber continues to ride headlines following his D.U.I. arrest in Miami yesterday (Jan. 23). After saying cheese for his mug shot and waving to fans after his release from jail, the 19-year-old pop star apparently continued to toast to the good life merely hours after getting cuffed. The “Hold On” singer was instead spotted pouring up with Pops and bar-hopping in South Beach.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that the singer’s blood alcohol level recorded at the time of arrest by law enforcement officials may have been way off. While Bieber’s BAC was initially recorded as 0.04 (the legal intoxication level is 0.08), the singer’s actual BAC may have been 0.014, a significant difference. Though the singer claimed he was not drunk at the scene of the crime, sources say it was the stench of alcohol on his breath that caused the potential error in the police report. The Miami police team’s credibility has been reportedly questioned in the past and could eventually sway in the Biebs’ favor if it turns out the cops were lying. UPDATE: Three cops in the Biebs’ case have been suspended without pay for reportedly giving the singer the “VIP treatment,” TMZ reports. The Opa-Locka Police Department is currently conducting an internal investigation after the gossip site posted video of two police cruisers sandwiching Bieber’s SUV as it headed towards the strip club. The officers are suspended with pay and the investigation is ongoing. The City Manager says he has no idea how the escort was arranged.
