Q-Tip To Join Forces With Leonardo DiCaprio And Jonah Hill For New TV Show?

Q-Tip and Leonardo DiCaprio are taking their talents to the small screen.

According to Deadline, A Tribe Called Quest’s own Q-Tip is teaming with Wolf Of Wall Street stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill to create a scripted TV series based on his time as part of The Native Tongues Collective.

The series is also set to serve up tales from Q-Tip and the rest of Tribe, including Phife Dawg, Jarobi White and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, from hip-hop’s humble beginnings during the 1980s and ’90s.

In a 2008 Los Angeles Times article, Q-Tip revealed his bromance with Leo, “Leo — that’s one of my best friends and I’m one of his.”

After almost 10 years of friendship, the rapper/ producer/ DJ will partner with DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, for the series, which is expected to be shopped to networks next week. No writer has been chosen for the drama as of press time.
