Bottomless Brunch Deemed Illegal in NYC + Twitter's Reaction
You know those laws that exist but are never enforced? Well, "Drunch" happens to fall in that category, but soon we will have to close the doors on it — in NYC at least.
The New York City Hospitality Alliance sent out a message citing that bottomless-brunches is highly illegal. The law "prohibits from selling, serving, delivering or offering to patrons an unlimited number of drinks during any set period of time for a fixed price." And now they are going on a binge run to crack down this popular Sunday past time.
Like most cities, NYC is one known for its Sunday drunch specials in which many natives and visitors religiously partake in. As expected, people are not too happy about this and have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion.
