Magic Johnson Talks HIV, Current NBA Stars & Gay Son On The Breakfast Club
Basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson stopped by the Breakfast Club on National Black HIV/Aids Awareness Day to school the hosts about getting tested and how to live a full life with the disease.
“I’ve been now 22 years dealing with HIV…it’s been a great support system for me coming out,” he says.
He also spoke about his relationship with Isaiah Thomas, who out of the current generation of hoop stars would have qualified for the NBA All-Star league back in the day, and how he really feels about his son EJ coming out as a gay man.
