NYFW '14 Beauty Review: 'Butter London' Lounge Event [Photos]
On Feb. 12, Butter London hosted its 'Butter Lounge' event for New York Fashion Week at The London Hotel. Butter London has been making perfectly glossy polishes since 2005 and has recently transitioned into the make up/cosmetics. Their custom lounge was the perfect way to celebrate hump day with a personalized mani and tall glass of champagne. Clients were also able to choose from seven unique designs and left with Butter London gift bags. They sure know how to treat a lady!

Their newest products include the Backstage Basics Body Lotion and the glitter glam polish 'Anorak,' set to hit stores next month. The most popular polishes of the season are Yummy Mummy and Union Jack Black, most recently seen at the Nicole Miller, New York Fashion Week show. Our favorite product of the night was definitely the Matte Finish top coat. By applying it to any color, you can give your nails edge. It runs for $18, but it's definitely worth the splurge.
Butter London prides itself on having "dressing table worthy" and easy-to-use products. The products' detail is taken into consideration so much that even the bottle is specifically designed to fit comfortably in the crease between your index finger and thumb; making it easy to hold as you paint.
Butter London's current trends are creating texture with polishes and being more experimental with color and finding new ways to make darker winter colors pop. Their products are sold at Nordstrom, Ulta, Sephora in Manhattan, Macy's, Dillard's, and Bendel's.
