The Oscars Will Stream Live For The First Time

If you were plagued with worry about missing tonight’s Oscars, never fear: ABC will be streaming the show live.

In an unprecedented move by the Academy Awards, the 86th annual show will be available to watch by viewers with television subscription service via ABC’s “Watch ABC” app for iOS and Android,, The streaming will include the pre-show, ceremony and the Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars special.

The Oscars live streaming will be available through the following service providers: Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications, Verizon FiOS, Google Fiber and AT&T U-verse in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham and Fresno, according to ABC.
