Deep Dish Release “Quincy” After A Smashing Performance In Miami

This year’s installment of the Miami Music week saw some exciting developments take place. The meteoric rise of deep house and techno in the past year enveloped the city with throbbing atmospheric drums and dark grooves. After a six-year hiatus, D.C. based producers Dubfire and Sharam reunited as the legendary house duo Deep Dish and was back in the center of all the action.

Their reunion show at the Ice Palace Studios on March 29 saw a massive turnout, including performances from some of electronic music’s biggest stars like Carl Craig, Hot Since 82, and Andhim. During their performance, Deep Dish stood mysteriously in the middle of a large LED stage. Gargantuan drum rhythms, warped bass lines and an infectious dose of progressive synths amalgamated through the build up. Intensity and emotions grew higher with each groove, and as the 3D visuals began to take form, the duo came into view. Their set was a flawless sublime journey of house and techno-new and old- including their own solo productions.

We really wish they uploaded their set from the other night, but their Essential Mix is sure to keep you grooving until then.

Their new single “Quincy” is also out on iTunes and is available here.
