DJ Kool Herc And Marley Marl Set To Headline ’31 Days Of Hip-Hop’ Festival


The legendary DJ Kool Herc and Marley Marl will kick knowledge next month when they headline the “31 Days Of Hip-Hop” festival in NYC.

Taking place at Queens Library, the monthlong event will entail a breakdancing competition, a “Who’s The Best MC?” battle, and a fashion entrepreneur panel with FUBU founder, Keith Perrin. The first item on the list is titled “The History of Hip-Hop” which will feature Marley Marl and Kool Herc on May 1. The month will commence with Ralph McDaniels, founder of “Video Music Box,” when he leads the discussion on “Intro To The Entertainment Industry” on May 30.
