Gwen Stefani To Join Pharrell On ‘The Voice’?

News

Rumors are swirling that Gwen Stefani will be occupying a red, swivel chair for the seventh season of NBC’s The Voice.

Us Weekly reports that the No Doubt frontwoman will be hollering as a judge in place of the pregnant Christina Aguilera. While the show reportedly wanted to keep the “Genie in a Bottle” singer onboard, the newly engaged singer preferred not to.

Stefani is said to be joining for one season only as Aguilera will return to the panel for season eight after she gives birth to a baby girl with her fiancee Matt Rutler. She will begin her judging stint alongside fellow judges, Usher and Adam Levine.

After a bananas reunion at Coachella earlier this month, the “Hollaback Girl” songstress may also be seeing Pharrell once more, as he recently joined “The Voice” family as a voice coach.
