Hair Regulations For Female Soldiers Are ‘Racially Biased’

According to The Army Times, thousands of black female soldiers have created a petition to be reviewed by President Obama in hopes that he will change the newly enforced hair regulations for women in the army; regulations they feel are biased against naturalistas.

Expected to be enforced ASAP, the recently published rules (Mar. 31) note that twists and dreads have been banned since 2005, but were never specified. “Inappropriate” hairstyles were also captured in the above pictures.

This seems a bit unfair considering most of the unauthorized hairstyles are popular amongst black women.

Vixens–what are your thoughts?
