Kanye West Planning To Release Spoken Word Album?
Word on the web is that Kanye West's Yeezus follow-up will be a three-hour spoken word album, Contact Music reports.
Kim K's hubby-to-be may have his nuptials to plan, slated to happen next month in France, but the world can agree that the man never runs out of things to say. Given his affinity for rants, this reported three-hour vinyl recording will touch on fatherhood, his environmental and political views, and keeping up with his favorite Kardashian.
While specifics are yet to be confirmed, here's what we do know for sure about 'Ye's future musical release:
1. His album could have eight songs, according to this interview he did with architect Jacques Herzog at Art Basel in Miami last December.
2. There's still a Miley Cyrus "Black Skinhead" remix, wafting around somewhere.
3. The follow-up probably won't be Yeezus part 2, according to his DJ.
4. He postponed the Australian leg of his tour to get the damn thing done.
A source allegedly tells British tabloid The Sun about the rumored project, "Kanye likes to push the boundaries and thinks this is very groundbreaking. He's hoping it'll win him a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album."
Here's to hoping he makes the best LP of all time.
