In college, San Francisco-based artist Apex dove into shallow water, broke his neck and was never suppose to walk again. It was art that got him back on his feet. Today the street artist, known for his intricate and colorful superburners and their more formal mono-chromatic offspring, isn’t afraid to push the envelope using everything from jeans to the ol’ concrete wall as a surface.
