Black NHL Player Gets Verbally Attacked By Racist Tweeters

The race war continues days after the Donald Sterling controversy. Friday (May 2), P.K Subban from the Montreal Canadiens exhibited racial insults on Twitter after scoring the winning goal against the Boston Bruins in the second overtime. Racist fans of the Bruins took their feelings about the game to Twitter by posting racist remarks about the African-American hockey player and his shunned accomplishment.

Although the tweets were immediately deleted to prevent the hash tag “#n****r” from trending, CBS News Detroit managed to catch a few before they were all removed from the web.
