DJ Dan Proves Why He’s Still ‘Life Of The Party’

West Coast house music pioneer DJ Dan has a new album ‘Life Of The Party’ out on his record label InStereo Recordings. It is a groovy 20 tracker that combines Dan’s traditional dose of warped funk, jacking house rhythms, and potent drums. Collaborators on the record include the likes of TJR, Umek, WhiteNoize, Mes, Phunk Investigation, and DJ PP.

The LA-based DJ was also recently involved in a scuffle for not playing a track, that a couple at his show in Baltimore’s Red Maple Nightclub had requested. Dan handled it like a pro, he turned off the music, and called them out: “This guy just tried to hit me because I wouldn’t play his girl’s mainstream request.” What a boss.
