Jay Z’s Tour With Beyoncé Will Take Precedence Over Roc-A-Fella Logo Lawsuit Deposition

Back in March, Jay Z was said reportedly facing mandatory depositions for a lawsuit over the Roc-A-Fella logo. Fashion designer Dwayne Walker sued Hov, Dame Dash and Kareem “Biggs” Burke for allegedly jocking the design that Walker claims to still own to the tune of $7 million. Now, his lawyers say that the hip hop mogul is too busy to be bothered with such nonsense.

According to TMZ, Walker wants the rapper to sit for a deposition next month but Jay’s attorneys are saying nah because of his “grueling” schedule. His legal reps describe him as “one of the most prolific and hardest-working businessmen and recording artists in the world” and said his forthcoming On The Run tour with wife Beyonce will keep him out of court.

“Preparing a stadium tour is a non-stop effort,” they added. No official word from Hov on the matter as of yet but you can expect him to kick off the 18-city stint with Bey on June 25 in Miami, FL at the Sun Life Stadium.
