Kelly Rowland Teams With Pepsi For Soccer-Themed Visual Album


The newly married Kelly Rowland may talk a good game but she’s not playing around for her next project.

The Grammy winning singer is teaming up with Pepsi’s fútbol campaign to produce a soccer-inspired album titled Beats of the Beautiful Game. “What I love about this is how creative it is,” said Rowland, whose song “The Game” will have a video directed by Spike Lee. “It’s a project with a whole bunch of different artists being able to do different songs. I’m excited about being a part of something like this.”

Rowland joins a list of huge names like Idris Elba, Janelle Monae, Timbaland and Spike Lee in the production of the 11-song tribute, set to drop June 11.
