Miles Davis Honored With New York City Street
New York City is paying homage to legendary Jazz musician, Miles Davis, by renaming a street after him in Manhattan.
“Miles Davis Way,” located on 77th Street between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue, will commemorate the 65-year-old icon, the New York Times reports.
Davis lived in an apartment building on West 77th Street for a quarter of a century before passing away from pneumonia in 1991.
