What You Missed During The First Weekend Of New Orleans Jazz Fest 2014
Today — Thursday, May 1 — marks the launch of the second weekend of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The fest takes pride in mixing local NOLA sounds like zydeco, gospel, cajun and brass bands on a roster with mainstream artists, that this year include, Robin Thicke, Arcade Fire, Eric Clapton, Trey Songz, Public Enemy, Christina Aguilera to name a few. It is perhaps one of the most eclectic lineups out there. (Drake even played the festival in 2010.)
While the festival boasts back-to-back weekends of music, each weekend offers a different lineup. Check out highlights from weekend one of Jazz Fest 2014.
