Not only has she sold over 12 million records, Alicia Keys has done a ton of charitable work. While she served as a Creative Director at Blackberry in 2013, ​she did work with their Scholars Program, which awarded scholarship money to women earning degrees in science, technology, engineering and math. ​The Harlem native is​ also​ the co-founder and Global Ambassador of Keep a Child Alive, a non-profit organization that provides medicine to families with HIV​/AIDS​ living ​ in Africa. For all of her selfless efforts to bring awareness, funding and good will to populations in need, Swizz Beatz’sbetter half deserves an honorary diploma.
