In case you haven’t been on twitter all day, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick just became one of the highest paid players in the NFL after signing a six-year, $126 million dollar deal ($61million guaranteed). With his rookie contract up, Kaepernick went into discussions with the team and it took little to no time for them to settle on a number. Kaep’s done a lot in his first two seasons, even more quarterbacks do in their entire careers. But was this too high a number for the Niners to drop on him?
