Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal
The singer was expected to resolve his Washington, DC assault case yesterday (June 25), but it fell through when the attorneys couldn't agree on what the singer would take blame for in the alleged photobomb incident.
Last October during Howard's homecoming, the "Loyal" singer was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly hitting Parker Adams for photobombing the singer outside the W hotel. At the time, he was on probation in California for his '09 attack on then girlfriend, Rihanna. Breezy's attorney, Mark Geragos, said neither party could agree on the facts about the night in question.
"They wanted him to read from a script that wasn't true," Geragos said after the hearing. "If they want a trial, that's what they'll get."
The actor's court date has been scheduled for Sept. 8 and it's expected to take a day and a half.
