Fly or Fail: Janelle Monae On ‘David Letterman’

Pint-sized songstress Janelle Monae hit the Late Show with David Letterman to perform a cover of David Bowie’s “Hero.” As per usual, she rocked her signature dandy ensemble but this time it looks a little more feminine.

Monae wore a black button down with  black leggings, a black and white striped blazer and oxfords, and topped it off with a crimped pompadour and blue eye-liner. It looks like she has been embracing more of her girly side lately. What do you think about her ensemble?
