New Mixtape: Tiffany Foxx ‘King Foxx’

Lil Kim continues to inspire the next generation of female MCs. One listen to Tiffany Fox’sx animated and fluid flow and one can hear that she’s has been influenced by the Queen. Yesterday, the St. Louis native released her fourth mixtape Lil’ Kim’s International Rock Star Records. Foxx has the flow, beat selection and lyrics to be taken serious. One of the standout tracks on the 13-cut mix-tape is the Pusha T and Young Thug-assisted “Young And Thuggin.'” Foxx also gets her swag on with the braggadocios Sonny Digital-produced “Cdis.” She also her club and radio friendly skills with the track, “Selfies.” But, the album loses some of its luster toward the end with the tracks like “Buy Her What She Want” and “Don’t Trust’ em.” And, the Zaytovan-produced, “Bet it,” where Foxx uses a Gucci Mane-like flow seems out of place. But, overall, King Foxx is rising rapper and a good listen. Download King Foxx mixtape here.
