Chance The Rapper Reveals Collabos With Wyclef Jean, J. Cole & Elle Varner
Chance The Rapper has been keeping busy. From dropping his dope Acid Rap mixtape in 2013 to touring the world over this year, he's also clocked in studio time with your favorite artists.
In a recent interview with DJ Semtex on BBC Radio 1Xtra, the Chicago rapper told Semtex he's ready to take a break from shows. "I go back to working as I was meant to work," he said after touring for over two years. "The performing thing is fun for me and it pays the bills and shit but I need to chill." The rapper says he will be getting back to his roots, "writing, producing and recording."
Chancellor also confirmed rumors of his many collaborations. "I've been doing a lot of stuff with Wyclef and did a little work with J. Cole. Obviously James Blake," he said. He has also paired up with Skrillex, Boys Noize, Jessie Ware and Elle Varner.
He explained that every artist is teaching him something new about music. "I'm soaking in their energy... These are seasoned, awesome eclectic artists that know a lot that I don't know. Working with them and getting to see their process is making me a lot better."
