Premiere: Watch Eric Bellinger’s ‘Kiss Goodnight’ Video Featuring Kid Ink
Still riding the momentum of his The Rebirth project, Eric Bellinger wanted an elegant look for the video to his latest single, the Kid Ink-featured “Kiss Goodnight.” So the Los Angeles singer/songwriter recruited photographer Mike Ho (Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa) to direct a sexy, monochromatic clip.
“I try to stay away from what everyone else is doing,” the Grammy Award-winning artist says of his latest video, which features model Bijon H. “The ladies were regal and the black & white really took it there [and] made it a classic piece.
As for Ink, Bellinger new from jump that he’d be the perfect rapper to complement the sultry record, which references Blackstreet’s “Before I Let You Go.”
“I knew Kid Ink’s flow would fit perfect since my verse were more on the rap singy vibe,” he says. “I knew this song would be a fan fave just because of the sample and the way we flipped it and made it so current.”
Next up from Bellinger: the album. He says it will be consistent with the sound of The Rebirth—great R&B music. “It’s sounding incredible already,” he adds.
