Example Shares Top 10 Summer Hip-Hop Tracks

Being one the UK’s biggest musical artists means setting an example for the lackluster rest. Singer, songwriter, producer, rapper and over all club banger badass, Elliot Gleave lives up to this standard.

Known by his well-suited stage name, Example, the 32-year-old has four albums (five as of next month) under his belt, including his #1 platinum LP, Playing in the Shadows and most recent gold selling album, The Evolution of Man. His single “One More Day (Stay With Me),” off his forthcoming, Live Life Living, has seen remixes from the likes of MJ Cole and Erik Abores.

Live Life Living will be the British dance-hip-pop hero’s fifth LP and first-ever release on Epic Records. Dropping on August 12 (pre-order it here), this full-length sees him testing new sonic waters – that is you won’t find any rapping from Example featured on the album. He’s throwing back aural love to the likes of Chemical Brothers and Underworld this time around.

With a nostalgia that all music fans can feel, Example gears up for the release by sharing his own top 10 hip-hop tracks for summer. Throwbacks galore, get addicted to Example’s crackin’ musical mind, after the jump.
