Kanye West’s ‘MBDTF’ Hailed No. 1 On GQ’s ’21 Albums From The 21st Century Every Man Should Hear’ List

A cover wasn’t the only honor Kanye West received from GQ.

In the August issue, Mr. West’s 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy grabs the top spot on “The 21 Best Albums From The 21st Century Every Man Should Hear” list. GQ called it “a portrait of a man seizing the spotlight, drowning in it, and then somehow finding a way to turn that harrowing experience into art.”

Yeezy’s fifth LP beat out the likes of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange (no. 7), big brother Jay Z’s The Blueprint (no. 12), and Ghostface Killah’s Supreme Clientele (no. 10).

Kim Kardashian’s hubby is currently gearing up to perform at the Made In America festival on Aug. 30-31 in Los Angeles, Calif.
