Snoop Dogg And Yo Gotti Featured In ‘Take Me To The River’ Documentary

The West Coast legend and King of Memphis are set to be featured in Martin Shore’s award-winning music documentary Take Me To The River, set to be released on September 12th. The film takes a look and celebrates the journey of American music through the eyes and influences of Gotti’s hometown of Memphis. Fighting through discrimination and segregation, the city forges ahead a noted musical history deeply rooted in Southern culture.

The film, narrated by Terrence Howard, the film is set to include the likes of William Bell, Mavis Staples, Otis Clay, Lil P-Nut, Bobby “Blue” Bland”, Frayser Boy and more. A companion album in conjunction with the film will be released in the fall.
