ICYMI: Funniest Floyd Mayweather Reads Like Jokes

Floyd Reading Tweets 7

Floyd Mayweather may be undefeated in the ring but the real battle is with 50 cent.

Allegedly during an interview with MLive, earlier this week, the boxer dissed 50, Nelly, and T.I.

“When people are not relevant, and they’re not moving units like they were once moving, you’ve got to realize, I’ve been relevant for 18 years—I don’t have anything to say about hip hop artist. A lot of times, you see a lot of these rap artists, they rap about certain things, but I really live it. Every home that I have is paid for, every car that I have is paid for, and I am a hundred-million-dollar man. I mean, this is the truth; it’s not a lie. I mean, if these guys claim that they’re doing certain numbers and certain units, we’ll see.”

Without name dropping the three rappers, his comments still managed to upset his longtime nemesis and former friend, prompting Curtis Jackson to challenge him to a reading challenge. If Mayweather managed to read a full Harry Potter page aloud, Jackson would donate $750k to a charity of the boxer’s choice.

However a day later, the undefeated champ hadn’t responded, so Power 105.1 released old audio of the boxer’s unedited drops for the station.

Once they played it, the audio went viral and so did his name. Not choosing sides but finding his achilles heel hilarious, his name trended all yesterday. Twitter generated memes and tweets making Floyd the butt of many illiterate jokes.

If you missed Mayweather’s fail this week, flip the page, and laugh a little.
