Sonia Kashuk Celebrates the Art of Beauty For 15th Anniversary With Target
Its inevitable that you’ll stumble across Sonia Kashuk makeup while rummaging through the beauty aisles at Target. From baked bronzers, to beauty sponges, and couture shower caps, the self-titled brand is the ultimate one stop shop for all things beauty and glamor.
Kashuk has been curating beauty products since 1999, and this year marks her 15th anniversary with chain department store. The makeup-maven helped pioneer the movement of luxurious yet affordable makeup. During her tenure, her items helped women achieve high-end quality beat faces at department store prices.
How did she ring in another year of her longstanding partnership? By popping bottles of course. Not.
Instead of a champagne toast, she commissioned a virtual masterpiece gallery. Via her website, the seven artist-curated pieces spotlighted her work through the years.
Sonia Kashuk told Style, “I’ve always had a very visual eye. I’m surrounded by artwork and photography that I’ve collected for the last 30 years. I think of makeup as an art, both in its application an in its form.”
