TBS Pulls The Plug On CeeLo Green’s ‘The Good Life’

TBS has given CeeLo Green’s reality show “The Good Life” the boot.

According to Spin, the unscripted reality show–which showcased Green’s hectic life as an artist and a performer–performed poorly among adults ages 18-49. TBS’ decision to cancel the show starring former coach of The Voice comes on the heels of Green’s controversial Tweet regarding rape.

“People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” he Tweeted.

Green’s Tweets come after pleading no contest to a felony count of furnishing ecstasy to a woman. The Goodie Mob emcee faced sexual assault charges.

While TBS has not confirmed the cancellation of the show is due in part to Green’s controversial remarks, the women’s rights group Ultraviolet demanded TBS pull the show from its network urging “rapists and rape-apologists should have no place in your lineup.” They are also the same watchdog group that took on Reebok and Rick Ross in February.

Green has since deleted his Twitter account.
