Nas’ ‘Illmatic’ Doc Will Screen Across The U.S. For 1 Night Only

Nas just turned 41 but the party don’t stop. His Time Is Illmatic documentary—which made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in April on the heels of the namesake album’s 20th anniversary—will be coming to a theater near you for one night only.

On Oct. 2, the doc, detailing the life and times of the Queens rapper, will screen across 40 theaters countrywide, he announced on Twitter. It will also be accompanied by a “Time Is Illmatic” tour, with select dates that month. The film features commentary from his peers including Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes, and Pharrell, along with his family, and Nas himself.
