Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps Arrested For Second DUI
Michael Phelps has dived into hot water with the law again.
The 18-time medalist was arrested for his second DUI charge, TMZ reports. The Olympian was pulled over by authorities early this morning after going 84 mph in a 45 mph zone in Maryland. Phelps failed his sobriety test after his B.A.C. number was almost doubled the legal standard. He was later released and charged with crossing double lane lines and excessive speeding in addition to his DUI.
Phelps was previously taken into police custody in 2004 for a similar DUI charge and received 18 months probation.
