Remember Musiq Soulchild? He’s Rapper The Husel Now
Remember the days of “Love,” “Halfcrazy,” “Don’t Change” and “B.U.D.D.Y.”? Well say goodbye to them, as the talented crooner behind them has decided to switch lanes. Taalib Johnson, the man we once knew as Musiq Soulchild, is now a rapper named The Husel.
The Husel is now based in Atlanta and has decided to reinvent himself at the height of the rap-singing era. He told Thisis50.com in an interview that in the future, we can expect a lot of auto tune from him (even though he already has golden pipes).
According to his website, “The Husel is not a person, THE HUSEL is a state of mind. Everyone has their own interpretation of the hustle, this just happens to be mine.” Interesting.
Vixens, listen to some of his new tracks below and see if you’re feeling his new steez.
