They Could Potentially Play The St. Louis Cardinals

Remember when we said the last time they won the World Series it was against the St. Louis Cardinals. There could be very well be a rematch in the making after 30 years. Surely fans old enough to remember that series either want a repeat performance or revenge, depending on the fan base you ask. Even more importantly, the two teams that call Missouri home could bring a little unity to a state that has been on the brink of breaking since Mike Brown’s murder.

We wouldn’t trivialize Brown’s death by saying something like a baseball game would heal the community of Ferguson, a city three hours away from Kansas City, MO. However, having two teams from the state in the World Series would give something positive to hear from a state that desperately needs some up lifting.
