50 Cent Ordered To Pay Sleek Headphones $16 Million
50 Cent will have to pay Sleek headphones quite the price following a judge’s ruling on Wednesday.
Palm Beach County judge Peter Blanc said there wasn’t a valid reason for 50 Cent and his legal team to clear the $16 million debt he owes to Sleek Headphones. The company sued the rapper in 2013 and won a judgement this past April after they alleged he “misappropriated trade secrets, breached his fiduciary duty owed to Sleek, participated in a civil conspiracy, breached his confidentiality agreement with Sleek and being unjustly enriched.”
The original ruling came down in April. 50 had originally partnered with Sleek to build a headphone line but split from them in 2011. He then partnered with Sync to created Sync by 50.
