Adrian Peterson Responds To Reports About Misuse Of Charity Money

Minnesota Vikings Running Back Adrian Peterson took to his Twitter account Wednesday (Oct.8) to respond to allegations of misuse of his charity money. An article published in the Minnesota Star Tribune goes into number 28’s past, particularly Peterson’s alleged misuse of his charity money, which resulted in the NFL player paying for a hotel room to have an orgy.

The Tribune took a deep look at Peterson’s personal life which includes a rape allegation, that he was later cleared of after passing a polygraph test. The outlet also reported the 2012 NFL MVP used a credit card from his charity to pay for the hotel room. The firestorm of controversy comes on the heels of being indicted back in September for a child injury case. Peterson’s lawyers say the athlete will plead not guilty when he appears in court.
